How to Apply Chrome Effect Candy Colors?
To achieve any desired color, you must start with a chrome base. The final color tone is applied as the top coat of the process to complete the finish.
Below is a real-life example applied to a motorcycle gas tank.

The normal base layer process is carried out.
COAT

Apply the Chrome Paint Coat normally, just as you would for a full chrome finish.
COAT

This is the top coat — the layer where the color is defined, as the desired blue dye is mixed at 10% with the protective clear coat.
The final result is... an impressive blue color! Or any other color you like, depending on the tint you use.
Additionally, some of the motorcycle’s plastic parts can be seen with a chrome finish tinted in black — a perfect match with the metallic blue.

A continuación algunos vídeos de ejemplo de como pintar en colores efecto cromo.

This video shows the chrome process applied to 20-inch truck rims. In the final step, the top coat is combined with 10% Copper Dye, ensuring a bright, vivid copper finish.
